The Scott pop duo of Craig (24) and Brian MacDonald (23) has taken the Scottish music scene by storm, since they burst into the public eye in 2006 as finalists in the monster British television show, X Factor.The pace has been relentless for the MacDonald Bros, having now released 5 albums in the UK, an Australian Album, and now an Asian album in the pipeline. Add to this four headlining tours of Scotland and a pair of UK tours in support of Irish superstars Westlife and you have an incredible few years of frenetic activity.Now not long back from their first overseas promotional trip to Australia in support of their Australasian releases – Craig and Brian say they couldn’t be happier.As well as great vocalists, both lads are also accomplished guitar and bass guitar players.

Edward Reid wowed the judges with his interesting take on Snow Patrol hit Run when he replaced the lyrics with a variety of nursery rhymes such as Twinkle Twinkle and Humpty Dumpty.The 35-year-old from Coatbridge was a hit with judges and the enthusiastic audience as he sailed through to the next round with three ‘yes’ votes, with David Hasselhoff calling him “freaky terrific.”Edward has been a firm favourite with Emkay Audiences for some years since wowing us at a showcase in Clydeband. Why not let us put a show around this very talented young man and put on a special event in your venue.

The Bald Eagles Show

The excellent guitar-vocals of Tom Lawson and the skills of Donni Jonson were combined as a double-act, when having shared the bill on many shows, reports came back of the success and the Bald Eagles were born.

The show is available as a two or three piece so why not spend a little bit more and include comedy vocalist Robyn Taylor for a non stop show of music and laughter.

An evening usually ends with the Bald Eagles as a live 2 or 3 piece band with music for dancing followed by an excellent disco if required.

The Fantastic Brogue Show

Exciting Traditional Duo

Brogue are Brigitte Rodrigues and David Scobie. They have been playing music together since 2001 and formed the idea for Brogue in early 2005. They have spent most of their lives living in Zimbabwe, Africa, although David was born in Dundee, Scotland.

His parents moved to Zimbabwe, then called Rhodesia, when he was eight years old. Brigitte gains Scottish blood from her mother’s side of the family, originating from Durness, Scotland and Portuguese blood from her father who came from Santa Cruz in Madeira.

Brogue plays all the instruments heard on their tracks as well as doing all their own recording, producing, arrangements and vocals. They still have many more projects in the pipeline for the future and are looking forward to giving audiences as much material as their creativity will allow.
